About this product

This template is designed to help online sellers in the Philippines who (1) have recently registered their business to the tax gods, (2) will register before the extended deadline, (3) do not know what to do next after registration.

I registered by business in 2021 and has since been doing the bookkeeping & tax filing myself. Like you, I have searched & searched all over the internet but cannot find an end-to-end guide for online sellers like me. Most of the time, one video answers one question only or end up confusing you.

That’s why I decided to create this guide.

You’ll get two files:
1. An extensive pdf version of a presentation that tackles:
a. How to register to DTI
b. How to register as a BMBE
c. How to register with BIR
d. What information from Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok Shop should I write in the receipts? Can I declare the deductions as expenses?
e. What should I write in the journals, columnars, ledgers
f. What BIR forms should I file and when
g. 2551Q filing
h. 1701Q filing
i. 1700 or 1701 or 1701A
j. VAT or Non-VAT
k. What tax rate should I use 8% flat rate, Itemized Deduction, 40% OSD?
l. What’s income tax vs. business tax

2. A ready spreadsheet that you can use as financial statement. This comes with formulas already. It has definitions of what you should write. It also includes how to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold, which is a field in the tax form. Also has a bonus income statement tab.

You will receive this by email. You will receive an Excel Spreadsheet and PDF file ONLY. All templates are for personal use only, you do not have permission to distribute or resell.

The contents of these files are based solely on personal experience and independent study. The creator is not a qualified accountant and has not sought professional advice from a licensed accountant. All information provided is intended to serve as a general guide for your own business activities and should not be considered as formal financial or legal advice. Individuals should consult with appropriate professionals for specific concerns regarding their businesses

I have a knack for numbers. My most recent work experience was as a Finance POC. So when I resigned in 2021 & registered my small business with the tax gods, I never imagined hiring an accountant. I did (and still does) all bookkeeping & tax filing. But I had the same questions as you! What do I write in the receipts? Journal, ledger, columnar, what?? And I had a hard time finding answers online & got more confused after watching videos. So I'm creating a straightforward, simple guide for you
